Copyright Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains how to report content on DeepRevision that infringes your copyright and how to respond if your content was reported.
Our approach
DeepRevision users upload their own study material and can choose to make what they create public. Users must only upload and share material they have the right to use. We respect the rights of authors, publishers and teachers, and we remove infringing material when we are told about it.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on DeepRevision infringes your copyright, email legal@deeprevision.com with:
- your name, postal address, phone number and email address
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- the link(s) to the content on DeepRevision that you want removed, or enough detail for us to find it
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for them
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine)
We will review the report and, where it is valid, remove or disable the content and let the person who posted it know. Please be accurate: knowingly false reports can create legal liability.
If your content was removed
If you think your content was removed by mistake, or you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to legal@deeprevision.com with:
- your name, postal address, phone number and email address
- a description of the content that was removed and where it appeared
- a statement that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or where we are based, if you live elsewhere), and that you will accept legal papers from the person who reported it
- your physical or electronic signature
We will pass the counter-notice to the person who reported the content. If they do not tell us within 14 working days that they have started legal action, we may restore the content.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly upload or share infringing material, as described in our Terms of Service.
Private study material
Content you keep private is visible only to you. We do not review private libraries, but we will act on a valid report about any content, private or public, as the law requires.
