Community Guidelines
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. They apply to everything you publish or share on DeepRevision, and to how you use features that involve other people.
Keep it about learning
DeepRevision is a place to study. Anything you make public — sets in Explore, shared links, your username and avatar — should be educational and useful to other learners. Off-topic content, advertising and spam may be removed.
Not allowed anywhere on DeepRevision
- hate speech, or content that attacks people for who they are
- harassment, bullying, threats, or encouraging anyone to harm themselves or others
- sexual content, and anything that sexualises minors in any way
- graphic violence that has no educational purpose
- other people's personal information (phone numbers, addresses, photos, grades) shared without their consent
- content that promotes illegal activity, such as instructions for making weapons or drugs
- material you do not have the right to share, such as copied textbooks, paid course content or leaked exam papers
- content you know is false and that is meant to mislead
- spam, scams, links to malware, or ads you were paid to post
- pretending to be another person, a teacher, a school or DeepRevision
Study honestly
DeepRevision is built to help you learn, not to do your graded work for you. Do not use it during a test or exam unless your teacher allows it, and do not hand in AI output as your own work where your school does not allow it. When in doubt, follow your school's rules.
Do not publish exam questions that you were told to keep confidential.
Fair play
Leaderboards, streaks, XP and games should reflect real studying. Do not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts or bugs to climb leaderboards, collect free credits or get around limits. If you find a bug, please tell us at support@deeprevision.com instead of using it.
Reporting a problem
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, email support@deeprevision.com with a link to the set or the username, and a short note on what is wrong. For copyright problems, follow our Copyright Policy.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What we do
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- make a public set private, or remove it
- reset a username or avatar
- stop an account from publishing
- suspend or close an account, as described in our Terms of Service
- report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or write to support@deeprevision.com and we will take another look.
